Mini B C-Pro

This portable aqualung from MiniB is designed for yachtsmen who need to get over the side, for clearing a rope from a propeller, say. But it's also very much a fun scuba pack in its own right.

The 5-litre C-Pro is a backpack with all the features of a scuba kit for shallow-water diving, including hoses, steel cylinder, quality regulator and air pressure guage.

It's fairly compact for stowing and is easy to deploy quickly for situations such as a man-overboard.

Cost is around £580 with new/spare cylinders costing around £120.

Verdict: Venture underwater for repairs or for fun with this mini aqualung.
